Alchemy is a decentralized application (dapp) for participating in DAOstack DAOs (Distributed Autonomous Organizations). It is currently in alpha stage and is being used by a series of pilot DAOs launched. Anyone can make a DAO, and we encourage you to apply if you have the three crucial ingredients:

• Community
• Funding
• A common mission

Alchemy’s initial versions make it easy for DAO members to carry out three simple actions:

1. Make proposals for the DAO to take a specific action. A proposal is equivalent to a project pitch that contains an explanation of objectives, methods, costs and milestones of the proposed project.
2. Predict whether a proposal is going to pass or not in the DAO. This helps guide the collective voting process by sorting and prioritizing the proposals. Predicting is also called staking.
3. Vote on whether a proposal should be accepted or rejected.

Anyone can propose and predict, however, only people who hold reputation (voting power) in that specific DAO can vote (hint - you can propose a proposal to request reputation in any dao).
